Vintage Cufflinks Caribbean Blue Rivoli Crystals 1960s Mens Jewelry $65

As a vintage cufflink collector, I have seen thousands of pair of vintage cufflinks and 90% of the designs I pass by. They have to be certain styles and in superb condition to be of interest to me. Here on my website you will find one of the most unique and largest collections of vintage cufflinks for sale online. (If you are not in the mens vintage cufflink category, click on Mens Jewelry to your left).

Made in the 1960-1970 era, these vintage cufflinks are one of the best Rivoli styles you will ever see.

Most Rivioli style cufflinks are very large and bulky, but these are more of a medium petite size and the Rivoli crystals are Caribbean blue with flashes of neon light blue and light green. The silver rhodium frames enchance the radiating Rivoli appearance as they are beveled in a radiating pattern. The cufflink mesh chains are silver rhodium metal as well.

Unsigned, the face of the cufflinks are 5/8" or 1.6 cm wide. The Rivoli crystals are 10 mm. Both cufflinks are in pristine microscopically clean like new condition all around. There are no imperfections or signs of wear. I sincerely doubt this pair has ever been worn.

Comes shipped in a new cufflink presentation box.

Vintage Coin Tie Clasp 1954 Roosevelt Silver Dime Mens Jewelry $45

In 1954, Elvis Presley cut his first commercial record, gas was 29 cents a gallon, and the NY Stock Exchange closed at an all time high of 382. Joe McCarthy was sanctioned by Congress ending his Communist witch hunt and the words Under God were added to the Pledge of Allegiance. Hurricane Hazel also slammed the North Carolina Coast during the full moon in October as a Cat 4 storm; one of 6 big storms that hit the Carolina coast in 1954-1955.

This vintage mens tie clasp is not new. It was made in the 1950s when the coin was new. The Roosevelt dime is dated 1954 and set a wide rounded silver rhodium frame. The clip is silver rhodium over brass as well and the back, which has a large alligator spring clasp.

The dime is in excellent condition. It is not mint, but very close as all of the fine detail is still well defined. There are no scratches or dings on the coin. There is some wear or chipping of the silver rhodium in couple of spots. On the coin frame, on the lower right side behind Roosevelt's neck there is a spot that has been restored with silver paint. On the flat area of the bar, there are some scratches and tiny specks of rhodium flaking. The back is in perfect condition with no wear.

Medium large in size, the clasp is 1 3/4" or 46 mm long. The entire clasp is perfectly clean and polished. the clasp is not signed.

Sailboat Necklace w Earrings 1970s Vintage Nautical Jewelry $55

Really nice vintage nautical jewelry is rather hard to find.

Most nautical jewelry that was made in the 1940s and 1950s was carved wood jewelry that is very rare to find today. Most nautical jewelry that was made in the 1960s and 1970s was tacky looking and poor quality. There were only few US designers who made some nice nautical jewelry in the 1950-1960 era, which is something I've collected for decades. (You can find more nautical jewelry in the Tropical-Nautical-Sea Shell Category in the left hand column.)

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, carved wood nautical jewelry came back a little bit and was being hand made in Bali. Now carved wood nautical jewelry has disappeared as no one is making anything anywhere ! Finding the nautical jewelry that was made in Bali in the 1980s is now very difficult!

This attractive necklace and earring set is made of bright red and navy wood stained beads. The beads are light weight fruitwood and they are flattened disk beads about 3/8" wide, or about the width of a large pea. The hand carved light weight fruitwood sailboat pendant is painted in glossy white enamel with red and blue accents. The front is painted as same as the back.

The matching earrings are for pierced ears, painted the same front and back as well. The necklace is 20" long or 50 cm and the sailboat on the necklace is 2 1/4" tall x 2 1/8" wide or 5.8 cm x 5.6 cm. The sailboat earrings are large at 2" tall x 1 3/4" wide or 5 cm x 4.4 cm. With the silver metal ear wires, the earrings hang down 2 5/8" long or cm overall.

All pieces are in pristine microscopically clean condition with no signs of age or wear or other imperfections.

Patriotic Necklace Red White Blue Glass Americana Vintage Jewelry $45.00

This 1960's Nautical or Patriotic necklace is an excellent old find !

The necklace has metal chain segments in red, white and blue enamels. Finding these old enameled chains is very difficult today. The flat glass beads in matching colors are square beads with rounded edges and corners. The small round white beads are Lucite or plastic.

The necklace is 53" long and the flat glass beads are 3/8" x 1/4". All of the beads are in perfect shape. The colored chain has some light to medium wear, mostly on the white sections. If you like, you can touch up the chain with finger nail polish but I prefer to leave it original as it shows its' true age and the fact that it has been worn and appreciated.

Kennedy Bicentennial Coin 14kt Gold GP Half Dollar Key Ring 1776-1976 $43.95

My grandfather bought me this 14kt gold plated Kennedy Bicentennial half dollar key ring when it was new in 1976. I cherished it, never wanted to use it, and kept it in perfect like new condition in a box in my jewelry box.

My big Scott-Irish grandfather bought a new Lincoln Continental every other year. I was really lucky kid and a couple of years after he gave me this key ring, he also gave me his 1977 gold Continental....which I loved, but it was like driving a cruise ship down the highway!

This Kennedy Bicentennial half is in pristine condition with no big scratches, scuffs, dings, or gold wear. Under a loupe, I can see a few very tiny and light microscopic scratches on Kennedy's face. The coin is suspended in a round gold plated textured frame and the screw-lock key holder is gold plated as well. I have not acid tested or scratch tested the coin for the kt of gold but it is 14kt gold plate or higher.

The coin with the frame is 1 3/4" or 45 mm wide. I've looked all over the internet, and I cant find another one of these for sale!

Antique Jewelry Box Victorian Art Nouveau Gold Casket w Pink Silk $57.95

Made in the early 1900's, this is an antique gold jewelry casket. For those who don't know, these Victorian style boxes were items women treasured because in most cases, they were given with a special piece of jewelry inside such as a necklace, earrings, or a ring. A jewelry box like this was not meant to hold alot of jewelry; only a few very special items.
The box is made of thick and weighty silver/grey pot metal and the gold is dark gold gilt. The molded decor of flowers and scrolls is Art Nouveau. You don't ever have to worry about trouble with the hinge on the lid because this particular box is one that was made without a hinge. That is nice, because most old hinges on boxes this style are broke, or will break, and they are almost impossible to fix.
The inside of the box and the lid are both lined with pillowed light pink silk. Medium in size, the casket is 4 1/8" long x 3 1/8" tall x 2 1/4" deep or 105mm x 75mm x 57mm.
The silk is in excellent clean condition with no tears or frays and only minor hints of age. The gold gilt is in excellent condition for an antique casket box with only tiny and light minor signs of wear; better than most you will find. There are no scratches, cracks, dents, or repairs. The box is not signed.
