If you really want to dazzle onlookers in the winter, you cant get a more dazzling brooch than this vintage signed Crown Trifari snowflake brooch!

Made in the 1950s, this winter theme snowflake brooch is not only rare, but super spectacular and the way in quality and the way in which it is constructed. This brooch is a superb collectors investment or heirloom jewelry to pass down.

Made of silver rhodium metal, this very complex layered design is loaded with Aurora Borealis rhinestones. These faceted chatons are in the medium to light blue color spectrum and reflect hues of blues, silver, purple, pink, and gold. There are 13 AB snowflake clusters, each with 7 rhinestones or more, for a total of about 94 rhinestones on this brooch! All of the rhinestones are original, present, super sparkling, and have no facet wear.

Behind the snowflake clusters is a larger snowflake design composed of Montana blue marquise crystals. All of these crystals are original and present as well. The unique construction of this snowflake is stupendous and the colors are breath taking!

Medium large in size, the brooch is 2 1/8" or 54 mm wide. It looks like a heavy piece but it is not at all heavy to wear. You can get a better indication of the size by looking at the palm of your hand, then look at the photo of the brooch in my hand.

I have examined this brooch under a lighted table top magnifying glass and the condition is super clean and superb all around. The brooch is exceptional clean and pristine with no dirt, grime, residue, or other foreign matter; not even in the nooks and crannies. The silver rhodium is like new front and back with no metal wear or loss of silver. The back of the brooch has the Crown Trifari cartouche and the original fine working safety clasp.

I would like to make 2 small notes : The largest faceted AB chaton at the very center of the brooch has some very light microscopic surface scratches that can only be seen by me under a loupe. Also, one of the blue marquise crystals has a slightly lighter color than the rest of the crystals. Under a loupe, and in my close up photos, it can be detected but it is almost invisible to the naked eye.

Comes shipped in a new silk lined brooch presentation box.
